The draft is a big time for scouts and experts to make big boards. Here at Shake Dem Dreads we decided to do a big board dedicated to the players who have what we specialize in. All of the players on this list have sick dreads. Here is our big board which is based on where we think they will be drafted.

Shake dem Dreads NFL season awards awards

The NFL season has come to a close here at Shake dem Dreads we thought it was a good time to honor the players who did the best this season who had dreads. Here are the winners.

Offensive baby dread (offensive rookie of the year): Marshawn Lynch RB Bills

Defensive baby dread (defensive rookie of the year): Reggie Nelson S Jaguars

Best offensive dread (Best offensive player): Larry Fitzgerald WR Cardinals

Best defensive dread (Best defensive player): Bob Sanders S Colts

Fastest dread (Fastest player):Devin Hester WR Bears

Best all around dread (Best all around player) Josh Cribbs WR Browns

Now for the final award. This one is called the Golden Dread. It isn't always the best player but it is for the guy who I feel has the sickest dreads. The winner is new every year. So without further introduction, the winner of the first ever Golden Dread is Lamont Thompson safety of the Jaguars.

Marshawn Lynch of the Buffalo Bills

Marshawn Lynch was born in Oakland, CA. For college Marshawn went to California at california he had great stats. When leaving college Marshawn was the 12th overall pick in the 2007 draft by the Buffalo Bills. This season at the Bills Marshawn had 1,115 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns. Marshawn is a great player and we will definitely see his talent next year.

Yvenson Bernard of Oregon State

Yvenson Bernard is a great running back for Oregon State. In the 2007 season he had 1,212 rushing yards. In his bowl game, the Emerald Bowl he had 177 rush yards and 1 touchdown. Yvenson was born in Boynton Beach, FL and is in his senior year at Oregon State. We will definitely see Yvenson's name come up in the draft.

Chris Johnson of ECU

If you hadn't heard of Chris Johnson before last sunday you aren't alone. But if you still don't you are missing out. Johnson might be one of the best running backs in all of college football. He set an NCAA bowl record with 408 total yards in ECU's surprising win over Boise State in the Hawai'i Bowl. He had 233 rushing yards and 2 total touchdowns.Chris Johnson is from Orlando and is in his senior year at ECU and ran for 1423 this year. We will fortunately be able to see him in the NfL next year.
