It doesn't matter if a player has dreads or not. Having dreads doesn't determine how well you play in a game. It has alot to do with what frame of mind your brain is in and where your heart is when you get ready or is in during the game. If your mind is all messed up, you got stress on it or in your heart then the game, your team, and you suffer. You won't be able to perform your best and do what you are paid to do.
