Mickael Gelabale of the Sonics

Mickael Gelabale was drafted by the Sonics with the 48th pick in 2005 NBA draft. Before getting drafted Gelabale played basketball in France. Gelabale wanted to play in the Spanish League before immediately going to the NBA. Then he signed a two year deal with the Sonics. The thing we love about Gelabale is how his dreads measure 47" all around.

Dread Score: 9 out of 10

2008 AFC South draft recap

The NFL draft has now passed and many people are doing draft grades. But at shakedemdreads we base ours of how the team drafts players with dreads. Here are the winners of the draft and this includes undrafted free agents.

Tennessee Titans: They drafted Chris Johnson with their first round pick and then picked up Jason Rivers as an undrafted free agent. Need I say more? This is the 2nd draft in a row the Titans have been big winners as last year they got Chris Henry, Chris Davis and Michael Griffin.

Grade: B+

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts didn't have a 1st round pick but they made a big impact taking both Philip Wheeler and Marcus Howard. It's not surprising considering they are the team that drafted the great Bob Sanders.

Grade: B

Jacksonville Jaguars: The AFC south is officially the best division at drafting players. The Jags took Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves with their first two picks. Then they added Chauncey Washington in the 7th round. They also added Brian Witherspoon from Stillman (our favorite college team).

Grade: A

Houston Texans: The Texans didn't draft anyone with dreads but they did sign Ryan Grice- Mullen in free agency. Anytime you get a Hawaii receiver it's always a hit with us.

Grade: C
